Hiring 2 Mainframe Developers proficient in Cobol/JCL/DB2. This is full time (please, no C2C). Requires on-site availability in Cincinnati, Ohio. Banking and Wholesale Payment industry experience is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for analysis, design, programming, and implementation of complex applications tasks and projects.
• Devise feasible, logical procedures to resolve business problems through the use of computer resources.
• Formulate scope and objectives through research to develop or modify complex systems.
• Review detailed specifications and recommend modifications. Design, code, test, and debug complex application programs.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience 6 years of IT experience.
• Experienced developer with IBM Mainframe technologies (TSO/Roscoe, COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, SAS, Debug). Knowledge of NACHA/ACH preferred.
• Wholesale payment industry experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in key IT Service Management areas (Incident, Problem, Knowledge, and Change Management)
• Proficient mainframe Cobol/JCL/DB2 developer platform.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and requesting network services: Routing, Firewalls, NATs, etc.
• Working knowledge of real-time messaging and batch file transfer implementation and troubleshooting using different packages and methodologies (MQ, FTP, SCP, Sterling, etc.).
• Experience working knowledge of change management practices, agile and scrum methodologies.
• Experience with application databases in Oracle, MS-SQL and DB2 to include table design, table updates, query design, table load.
• Skills Knowledge of test automation tools and processes, agile project management methodology.
