ComResource is Hiring a Technical Project Manager Near Columbus, OH

Overview:

The Technical Project Manager leads all aspects of IT projects including deliverables and processes to accomplish project objectives, assembles project teams, manages resource allocation, sets expectations, develops and maintains the project plan and scope, manages day-to-day operations, tracks progress of all tasks, maintains project accounting and financial results, resolves issues and delivers regular status reports to senior management.

This role will utilize established delivery processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards and meet customer expectations. In addition, the Project Manager assists managing of activities regarding external consultants or vendors.

This role will also manage technology tasks related to opening, remodeling and closing of stores.

Key Details:

  1. Delivery of solutions to established and/or modified business area/management expectations; in terms of functionality/scope, quality, timeframe and financial constraints
  2. Responsible for effectively managing assigned projects according to the established process
  3. Project management duties include: ensuring scope is defined and communicated, developing and maintaining the project plan, managing day-to-day work, tracking progress of all tasks, maintaining project accounting and financial results, tracking and working with the team to resolve issues and delivering regular status reports
  4. When outside vendors are part of the project, manage the Statements of Work and payroll budget, as well as, act as a liaison with the vendor in issues of scope of work, team composition and vendor execution and financials
  5. Facilitates creation of end user training and system documentation
  6. Assesses any gap between current and established expectations and actively works to close differences through either molding the business expectations or modifying the project objectives
  7. When there is a substantial change in expectations which leads to a change in project objectives, pursues all consequences and documents the changes (scope, timing, funding)
  8. Facilitates story boarding sessions with the team to define workstreams used in project plan development
  9. Understanding of agile principals and experience in managing multiple cross functional agile teams toward a shared goal
  10. Using JIRA to track progress against deliverables
