Position: Payroll Coordinator
Location: 100% onsite at Erwin Park
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Pay Range: 24 - 25/ per hour - 40hrs/ week position
Overview
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of weekly time and attendance, maintenance of employee tax data, reconciliation of payroll tax filings, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll processes, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and interpret legislative changes.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly time and attendance records.
- Maintain accurate employee tax data within the payroll system.
- Balance and reconcile quarterly and year-end payroll tax filings, including W-2s.
- Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to ensure payroll compliance.
- Assist with interpreting legislative impacts on payroll processes.
- Review, track, and research agency correspondence related to payroll.
- Support additional payroll tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant payroll experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with multistate payroll and tax regulations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
