Position: Digital Content and Data Analyst

Location: Peachtree Corners, GA

Duration: 6 Months

Position Description:

The Digital Content Data Analyst will assist in the data transfers of digital content. The candidate will facilitate the submission of digital content to several Siemens content storage locations and external data consumers. The candidate will work closely with the Product Management, Marcom, and Digital Content groups, leveraging their product knowledge to assist in the sorting of content, uploading and correcting data, troubleshooting any sync errors and discrepancies, digital content analysis and editing. This position is expected to contribute to and deliver business processes or detailed technology solutions, in a self-managed and target oriented manner, and thus contributes to team results. Targets are short to medium term and achievements are monitored. They may provide functional advice to and integrate services of operational staff or semi-professional colleagues.

Needs to solve assigned, non-routine tasks, to contribute to projects or assignments, or to support development of guidelines, methods, tools or business processes.

Experience: 2 years of experience in analytics focused on data quality issues

Requirements – Skills:

• Excel including the use of formulas, large amounts of data (2000 rows of data)

• Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues, persistence in gathering needed information to complete the task

• Project Management is preferred

• Strong in business intelligence/business analysis

• Power Point

Requirements - Knowledge: Good knowledge in a technical field or business method including the basic theoretical background. Contributes to team effort, awareness of expected value add. May improve processes, business methods or technical components.

• Experience in Excel and adaptive to using formulas, Pivot tables, etc.

• Experience communicating the results of analysis clearly in writing and verbally

• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to provide regular status updates proactively

• Entrepreneurial spirit, with a curiosity to investigate problems and solve them

The strongest candidates will also have:

• BS/BA degree or 2nd year towards their bachelor’s degree

Essential Functions:

• Gathers and prepares content and metadata to upload to various systems

• Updates and corrects existing metadata and content

• Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

• Creates reports and communicates results to various internal and/or external stakeholders (e.g. management)

• Develops/updated processes to regularly maintain databases and conduct regular checks to ensure data integrity

• Create queries that allow data to be extracted and to streamline the data retrieval process

• Analyzes overall content data trends to create and proactively communicate actionable insights that help drive higher content quality

• Builds and automate business intelligence reports to quickly identify changes in trends/key metrics, elevate issues, and identify areas for improvement

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
