JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview :1st Shift starting at 6am Monday through Friday, Saturday’s as needed with demand.

Responsibilities:

· Oversees scheduling emergency work orders and daily preventative maintenance to ensure that all equipment is operated and maintained properly.

· Sees that the right techs are assigned to repair the equipment on which they experts.

· Checks machinery for leaking and fluid levels daily.

· Prepares scheduling for general maintenance and major projects including manpower, minimizing downtime.

· Updates recordkeeping seeing that all procedures and maintenance provided to equipment is documented.

· Conduct parts inventory.

· Orders parts as necessary to ensure parts availability to minimize downtime.

· Monitors daily production reports to continuously improve availability of all essential equipment.

· Maintains maintenance supplies as needed.

· Reviews performance of techs, broadening their skill level by ensuring cross-training. on key equipment.

· Audits and approves employee’s timecards.

· Assists in the interview process by giving input to hiring manager on skill level of prospective candidates.

· Maintain a clean work environment by keeping work area free of trash and scrap.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Basic reading and writing comprehension and computer skills; ability to read a tape measure.
• Proficient in basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow and give instructions.
• Solid communication skills.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
• Work authorization: United States (Required)

Experience & Education:

• High school or equivalent
• Technical degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance supervision preferred.
• Prior metals experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,000.00 - $81,000.00 per year
