Our Onsite Physician shall provide primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within the Primary Health Program. We are recruiting a Board Certified, Texas Licensed Family Medicine Physician to work and act as Medical Director at our Concentra Onsite facility. Candidates must be familiar with Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Health/Wellness. As Medical Director for the center, you will share responsibilities with the Center Leadership Team that includes onboarding, coaching, ensuring that standard workflows are followed, and clinical delivery is best in class. The Medical Director will provide Primary Care to a patient panel of 2,500 by treating employees, their covered dependents, and retirees.

Monday 8am-2:30pmTuesday 8am-1pm/1:30-5pmWednesday 8am-2:30pmThursday 8am-1pm/1:30pm-5pmFriday 8am-2:30pm

* Please note, this could change to a 40 hr work week.

Responsibilities

• Inoculations and vaccinations including flu shots, tetanus, etc. during wellness related health screenings and events.

• Routine exams, sports physicals, and preventative care.

• Provide primary medical care for employees, their dependents and retirees who have non-occupational illness or injuries.
• Support wellness initiatives in conjunction with the employer's wellness program, including but not limited to conducting:
  • Health Screening Blood Pressure checks, HDL/LDL Cholesterol, Blood Sugar, Total BMI, and other screenings.
  • Provide employee follow-up and wellness education.
  • Chronic disease management, monitoring and employee education.
  • Assist the Employer in developing wellness initiatives whish have a direct impact for their employees.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction as required for clinical and/or business duties
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
• Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from accredited institution
• Board Certification in Family Medicine
