We are currently looking to hire a Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst to join our team embedded with our client in Culver City! This position requires working a hybrid schedule from our client's Headquarters in Culver City, CA.
Job DescriptionThis position provides rapid assessments of potentially imminent local, domestic and international security situations, sensitive developments and complex threat issues. The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest in global security concerns and have experience with analysis and open-source research.
Responsibilities

• Complete projects as assigned including drafting, editing, and revising location and event threat assessments
• Monitor for new trends and changes to security environments and alert appropriate responders
• Conduct open-source research for white papers and strategic projects
• Create maps, graphs, or other visuals to support the team’s product
• Assist with investigations, social media monitoring, and crisis management logistics as needed
• Provide 24/7 support if needed
• Travel to support global events as needed
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (business, international relations, or security-related)
• Experience with open-source research and report writing
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize and assess information
• Experience working with highly confidential information
• Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with social media monitoring and research
• This position requires up to 10% travel

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working in an analytical field, including experience with geopolitics, economics, and international business
• Proficient in multiple languages
• Experience working in the Media & Entertainment Industry is a plus

$70,000—$75,000 USD
