Come and join a company that prides itself on its focus of employee Morale and Engagement. Please note some benefits require a waiting period before eligibility.Position Summary: Shop Cleaner/ Grounds Maintenance position is responsible for ensuring our Production and Grounds area(s) are kept clean and in an orderly condition throughout the day. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Have the desire to go above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities.
• Performs light and heavy custodial work in the Production plant throughout the day: sweep, vacuum, mop, using a broom, mop and/or industrial cleaning equipment.
• Have the ability to use ladders to dust and wash hard to reach areas such as walls, ceilings and/or light fixtures.
• May need to move cabinets, boxes, material or equipment to clean areas.
• Maintain work area, organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with the company's safety and health regulations.
• Must be able to safely operate a battery powered weed eater
• Must be able to safely operate a gas-powered push lawn mower

• Physical demands:
  • Lifting - Employee may be required to lift weights up to 50 pounds. In the event a load weighs more than 50 pounds, team members are required to seek assistance from another team member before lifting and use proper lifting techniques;
  • Push/Pulling – Push material of various sizes and weights;
  • Stand/Walking – Must be able to stand approximately 100% of the work shift;
  • Reaching - Reach up to heights of 60 inches to position and retrieve needed materials;
  • Kneeling – Must be able to kneel for extended periods, to pull weeds and perform various other grounds maintenance including but not limited to picking up trash and using various landscaping hand tools.
  • Range of Motion Movements – Will use range of motion when sweeping, raking or using other yard and shop maintenance tools.

 

• Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving machinery in a temperature-controlled environment and includes exposure to contaminants (mainly dust). Noise level: moderate to high (appropriate PPE is provided to all employees).
