Client Engagement Manager – Overview:

Concertiv is hiring a Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to join our Client Engagement team reporting to the VP of Customer Success. The Client Engagement Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. This role involves overseeing account management, driving renewals, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling partnering with our Sales and Client Success teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-centric mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in client relationship management.

What you’ll do:

Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on the health of client accounts, acting as the point of escalation and working with our Client Success team members to address any issues.

Renewals:

  • Manage and oversee the contract renewal process.
  • Work proactively to ensure high renewal rates.
  • Identify and mitigate any potential risks to account renewals.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure our solutions continue to provide value.

Cross-Selling and Upselling:

  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services to existing clients.
  • Develop and present proposals that demonstrate the value of additional offerings.
  • Work closely with the sales team to coordinate efforts and strategies for expanding client accounts.
  • Meet or exceed cross-sell and upsell targets.

Client Satisfaction:

  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Gather and act on client feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Serve as an advocate for the client within the company, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and account statuses.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, renewal rates, and sales metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal and sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial services and/or other professional services firms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and client issues with tact and professionalism.

Total Compensation: $120,000-$150,000/year

The compensation listed in this posting reflects what Concertiv believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, education, and relevant work experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
