Job Details
DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides support and assist with managing day-to-day activities associated with implementing and completion of capital projects.
  • Maintains and monitors project plans, vendor contracts, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organizes, coordinates, and attends stakeholder meetings, distributes meetings minutes and follows up on important actions.
  • Coordinates construction projects and activities with general contractors, architects, design consultants, vendors, and airport planning and development, and internal staff as assigned.
  • Assist with reviewing planning and contract documents prepared by outside consultants to ensure compatibility with company standards and requirements.
  • Creates and maintains project management calendar and schedule for all capital projects.
  • Conducts periodic review of work to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Secures and transmits all required guarantees, affidavits, releases bonds and waivers.
  • Coordinates with architect to have keys, manuals, record drawings, and maintenance stock delivered.
  • Gathers all Airport and Building Plan Review Comments for management review as needed.
  • Creates and manage status chart of submissions, updates, and resubmissions.
  • Monitors and confirms invoice are processed, logged, and submitted timely via Accounting Software.
  • Assists with the preparation and submission of document for all required permits.
  • Provides and coordinates consistent project communication with management and other internal team members, as applicable, ensuring open lines of communication.
  • Ensures Finance Department is notified of all project close-out for project capitalization.
  • Supports and works with other company staff on major projects and business changes and assists with proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsThe qualifications listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, construction management or a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum 3 years’ experience in program administration, project management in related field, facilities maintenance management or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, project administration and time management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors and/or others as required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to prepare letters, spreadsheets, presentations, project plans and/or other documents as required.
  • Knowledge of an ability to apply basic accounting principles, budgeting concepts and read blueprints.
  • Must be detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve conflict and deliver results.
  • Strong interpersonal, team building and leadership skills; ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
