Floater Assistant Teacher for the weekday preschool ministry of Concord Baptist Church.

We are searching for someone to fill our floater assistant position.
This position can be 2-4 days per week. This person will assist the lead teachers with both classroom and administrative responsibilities. In addition, this person will fill in as lead teacher when the teacher is absent. We are searching for a candidate that desires to be promoted to a lead or assistant teaching position if an opportunity becomes available.

• Hours: 8:15am-1:30pm following the Forsyth County School Calendar. Work Days are 2 days a week or 4 days a week (m/t/w/th).
• Benefits: There is 25% off of student tuition. Unfortunately there are no other benefits for part-time staff.

Requirements:

• A Mature Christian with a strong knowledge of the Bible and agreeing with Concord Baptist Church’s doctrinal beliefs.
• Be an Active (regular attender) member of a church that has the same doctrinal beliefs as Concord Baptist Church.
• At least 21 years of age
• Have a high school diploma.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Preferred classroom experience in a preschool, child care center, kindergarten, or elementary school grades.
• Must have a sincere love for children and be able to relate to children joyfully and sensitively
• Background and reference checks will be performed prior to employment.
• CPR / Fire Safety Training will be provided if needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.5 – 21 per week
