Concord Hospital Health System is Hiring a Cytology Technologist | Full Time | Days Near Concord, NH
EducationFour years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Bachelors Degree).
Certification, Registration & LicensureCertification required: Cytology Technologist (American Society Clinical Pathologist).
ExperienceNone required. Completion of 12-month CAHEA (Committee on Allied Health Education and Accrediation) accredited cytotechnology program preferred.
Responsibilities
- Screen, diagnose, and report GYN cytology samples.
- Screen, diagnose, and report NON-GYN samples.
- Demonstrates compliance with corporate, departmental and job-specific requirements.
- Effectively communicates with physicians on calls involving results and problems.
- Follow established department procedures and maintain quality control as outlined in the Cytology
- Maintain all required records, reports, and files as defined in the Cytology Procedure Manual.
- Participate in CAP surveys four (4) times annually for GYN and non-GYN.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
