Summary
The Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Inpatient performs various rehabilitation treatment programs according to established policies and procedures to patients of all ages and populations. Works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Education
Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Associates Degree). The OTA must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant Program.
Certification, Registration & Licensure
Current American Heart Association Basic Life support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association (American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers) within 30 days of hire.
Licensure required: Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of NH.
Experience
Requires experience working with a multidisciplinary team, patients and others. Must possess knowledge of growth and development across a diverse age and multicultural population.
