Concord is looking for a (temporary) Client Services Associate to join our mission- driven Client Services department to help with the prioritization and advocacy of new and existing clients (songwriters, artists, managers, producers, attorneys, etc) for all non-creative matters.

As a Client Services Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with the onboarding and on-going maintenance of royalty vendors across Concord Music Publishing and Concord Label Group. This includes updating tax and bank details for royalty recipients, providing support for our online royalty portal systems, and assisting with unclaimed property respondents under moderate supervision.

What you’ll do:

• Act as the primary, administrative point of contact for questions from Concord royalty-generating clients and any internal queries relating to those clients across both Music Publishing and Recorded Music
• Help solicit client feedback to improve service, user experience, and software features
• Manage Royalty Portal accounts (setup new accounts, update client access, revoke access) for Concord Publishing & Recorded Music Clients
• Update clients contact information, addresses & Vendor details in GTMS Royalty System (Recorded Music)
• Assist with new payee onboarding from Acquisitions (Graphite Royalty Portal) (Music Publishing Recorded Music)
• Assist with contacting individuals who respond to our Unclaimed Property Notices, and ensuring payments are re-issued (Music Publishing Recorded Music)
• Contact clients to resolve vendor issues, such as missing tax or bank information and circulated those documents with internal departments (Music Publishing Recorded Music)

What you’ll need:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, in one of the following roles: Royalties, Accounts Payable, Customer Services, or Income Tracking from a music company, film/TV production company, business management firm, or Talent Agency 
• College degree not required, however, would expect 4-5 years of professional experience in one of the above roles if no degree is available
• Must have experience reviewing sensitive data, such as tax information & bank details (experience handling US tax forms, W-9 & W-8 is required - individual has experience reviewing tax information to identify missing fields / incorrect submissions) 
• Must have experience with CRM / working support tickets (salesforce, Hubspot, Jira Service Management/Atlassian, etc)
• Must have experience navigating large sets of data in excel (up to 60,000 rows)
• Must show a proven ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, as well as interpersonal skills with the capability to tailor communication styles depending on the client you are interacting with
• Must be willing to come into the office a minimum of 4 days a week (Mon-Thursday), with the option to extend to 5 when needed during our busiest weeks (9-6pm central). 
• Ideally this individual is Fluent in Spanish and English and comfortable communicating in Spanish over email and phone
