CSP Global Program Manager
Position Overview: The CSP Global Program Manager at CSP provides administrative leadership project management strength and manages multiple academic programs within the CSP Global division. This role involves curriculum development, assessment, faculty management, budget oversight, and strategic planning to ensure high-quality student experiences and outcomes. The position demands a commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices and policies and proactive engagement with the industry to align programs with current career needs and market demands.
Essential Duties:
  • Academic Quality and Curriculum Management
    • Ensure the academic quality of the curriculum by analyzing course and program performance metrics.
    • Lead program development efforts to bring academically and financially sound offerings to market.
    • Oversee curriculum to meet institutional standards and align with current career/discipline needs and accreditation requirements.
    • Develop a curriculum aligned with industry-relevant skills to prepare students for successful careers.
  • Student Experience and Retention
    • Mentor and coaching philosophy working one-on-one with students outside of class Drive high-quality student experiences and retention by monitoring performance metrics and providing appropriate interventions.
    • Foster industry connections to enhance student engagement and career-focused opportunities.
    • Be responsible for the overall student experience within the academic unit, ensuring that policies and practices are student-centered and supportive.
    • Implement strategies aligned with student skill development to ensure graduates have the necessary career skills.
  • Faculty Development and Management
    • Develop high-performing faculty through professional development opportunities, including coaching, workshops, and resources.
    • Onboard, lead, supervise, and develop faculty within the curricular content area.
  • Strategic Planning and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with administration on strategic planning each academic year.
    • Engage with colleagues, industry experts, and instructional design experts to ensure program relevancy and success.
    • Align academic programs with industry standards and trends to ensure the curriculum remains current and competitive.
  • Budget and Resource Management
    • Manage and allocate the academic unit's budget effectively and efficiently.
    • Ensure compliance with university policies and regulations.
  • Teaching Responsibilities
    • Serve as a full-time faculty member
  • Other Responsibilities as assigned
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • Master's Degree: Required in discipline or related discipline within the academic unit.
  • Terminal Degree: Preferred.
  • Other Education or Training: Preferred; knowledge in adult pedagogy and online education.
  • Five years of teaching experience at the university level: Required
  • 3-5 years of unit-specific business experience: Required
  • Two years of demonstrated leadership and managerial skills: Preferred
  • 3-5 years of project/program management experience: Preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in online adult education curriculum and development: Preferred
Competencies
  • Commitment to Christian higher education and the Lutheran identity of the University. Strong knowledge and experience in online education.
  • Project/Program management skills, including cross-functional team management. Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and video lessons).
  • Strong commitment to student success and experience.
  • Interpersonal skills are required to lead people and manage programs.
Physical Demands: Consistent with a professional office environment, requiring regular sitting, standing, and walking/moving about.
Working Conditions: Professional office environment, with routine use of standard office equipment. Some evening and weekend work is required to assist students and faculty outside typical work hours. Flex Time options available.
