Expectations

Conemco Consultants is seeking a CEI- Inspector to join its collaborative multidisciplinary engineering and land surveying firm providing services throughout South Florida. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support small and large-scale projects including but not limited to commercial, industrial, educational, and residential projects throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties in both the private and public sectors.

 Responsibilities

  • Conducts technical field inspections of existing and new construction projects; monitors capital improvement projects daily to enforce applicable building codes, ordinances, and regulations.
  • Prepares reports, records, and correspondence concerning inspections.
  • Oversees contracted work on a daily basis for compliance with applicable laws, codes, ordinances, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Reviews plans for needed changes and makes recommendations to supervisors.
  • Responds to community complaints or concerns.
  • Delivers specific project information, notifications and announcements to communities or neighborhoods.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year industry experience.
  • Must have above average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.
  • Valid Drivers' License and good driving record
  • Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals.
