Our client, a publicly-traded biotechnology company, that has recently received FDA approval on their product, are looking to bring in an Accounting Manager.

This is a high-exposure role, allows for interactions across all departments, and the chance to be part of a company with an amazing purpose and mission.

Some responsibilities for the role will include:

• Participating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Partnering closely with tax, legal, FP&A, as well as a broad group of cross-functional business teams to provide guidance and analysis while developing effective and efficient accounting and reporting processes.
• Preparing and/ or reviewing appropriate account entries and account reconciliations.
• Support SOX compliance testing and document the company’s internal control policies and procedures and maintaining the control environment.
• Assisting in preparing the Company's SEC financial reporting on Form 10-Q, 10-K, and Proxy, including the creation of auditable support, and leading the analysis of the content.
• Responsible for the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for stock-based compensations, investment and other complex or non-routine transactions.
• Supporting the annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors.
• Management analysis and reports on an as-needed basis.
