Job Title: Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to join their leadership team. The CAO will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the company, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Payroll, and other administrative services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CAO will play a crucial role in driving organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Administrative Oversight: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all administrative functions, including Human Resources, IT, Payroll, and Administrative Services.
  • Human Resources Management: Lead the HR department in recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining top talent. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Information Technology Management: Oversee the IT department in managing technology infrastructure, systems, and software applications. Ensure data security, network reliability, and IT support services are maintained at high standards.
  • Payroll Administration: Supervise the payroll department in processing payroll accurately and timely. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, wage laws, and company policies related to compensation and benefits.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve productivity, and reduce costs across administrative functions. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to administrative functions. Implement controls and measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality services are delivered in a cost-effective manner. Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize value and minimize risks.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for administrative functions, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support business objectives. Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost savings and optimization.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the administrative teams. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior administrative leadership role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, IT systems, payroll processes, and administrative operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and achieve results.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and risk management principles.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional teams.

Compensation: targeting $230-260k base salary plus competitive bonus and LTIP
