Prepare food items and servefood to tenants within a scheduled time frame. Follow the menucycle noting changes or substitutions made.

Maintain cleanliness ofproduction and service areas and ensure adequate supplies are onhand. Assure compliance with the state sanitation code.

Maintaininventory control verify orders received assuring needed goods areon hand. Supervise food service functions. Maintain quality of foodserved quantity prepared and sanitation of food preparation area.

Assure that the tenants food needs and preferences are known.Assure staff tenant and guest meals are accounted for daily.

Maintain meal service records as required. Report problems concernsissues observed with food service and communicate themappropriately.

Observe changes in tenant status needs orpreferences and communicate them appropriately. Observe all worksafety and administrative rules.

Adhere to all established policiesand procedures. Record tenant information as required. Avoid lossbreakages and waste of supplies and equipment.

Demonstrateknowledge of and adhere to procedures for fire life safety disastersecurity worker safety and other emergency procedures.

Attendmandatory inservice training. Maintain nutritional requirementsneeded for state certification. Maintainconfidentiality.

Requirements

• Supervise andinstruct others in food preparation food serving and cleaningtasks.
