Client Statement:

Our client is seeking a Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services in various healthcare facilities. The role involves performing ultrasounds, communicating effectively with team members, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Transport and unload portable sonographic equipment and take into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician
• Perform and process Ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and digitally send them to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Scan exam related paperwork/billing daily per protocol
• Communicate regularly, efficiently, and professionally with peers, management, dispatch department and clients

Qualifications:

Required

• Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
• American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS)
• CCI Vascular Ultrasound
• Do you have an up-to-date Covid 19 vaccination? (yes)

Schedule and Shift Details

• 1st shift (9 AM - 5:30 PM) - Open to 8- or 10-hour shifts with various start and end times depending on shift hours

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The Sonographer may lift the Equipment Bag into and out of the vehicle and/or wheeled cart at the patients bedside and requires 18 to 20 pounds of force. The Equipment Bag is placed into a wheeled cart and is pulled for up to 250 feet, requiring an initiating force of 10 lbs., and a sustained force of 5 to 8 pounds.
