Full-Time Dispatch Assistant (Spanish Speaking Preferred)

Construction company looking to hire a full-time Dispatch Assistant to join our team. You will need to be self-motivated, with the ability to handle a fast paced working environment and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to incoming customer work requests (heavy phone calls, emails and text messages)
• Develop and manage daily, weekly and monthly work schedule
• Dispatch field crew in the most efficient and effective manner possible during the day
• Order materials and equipment as needed
• Provide Billing for completed work ready to invoice
• Present a courteous and professional image to the customer
• Follow up with continuous, timely and accurate information
• Provide daily status reports and follow-up on open items
• Produce weekly reports
• Meet goals for efficiency and profitability of operations as periodically established
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by other members of your team and supervisor.

Qualifications:

To be eligible to perform this job, an individual must possess the following:

• Spanish speaking preferred
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills - Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
• Highly efficient, detail-oriented, organized and creative with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• An appetite for continuously learning new skills.
• Self-starter with strong focus on sustainable results
