General Manager

The property is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to immediately join our team as the General Manager. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the outdoors, generally, and natural surroundings of the park, specifically. The candidates will have a passion for curating authentic and regionally relevant experiences for our guests. The candidates will be motivated by the opportunity to become an expert on local attractions and welcome guests of all ages and experiences to our unique brand of hospitality.

General Manager Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the on-site team of office staff, reservations and maintenance
• Drive guest satisfaction by implementation of hospitality best practices
• Develop and track an operational budget and key performance indicators for the property
• Identify, track and evaluate competitive market set to ensure optimal execution of business plan and pricing
• Complete financial reports relating to P&L and budgets to communicate a complete property performance to corporate leadership
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local agencies relating to resort operations (includes all required lodging, employment, operating, health, food service / liquor, and environmental permitting and licensing)
• Contribute to identifying and executing programming opportunities for guests during all seasons
• Enforcing company policies and standards
• Oversee the on-site marketing strategy implementation including updating listings on OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), curating influencer visits and updating of social media accounts with brand relevant content
• Oversee the reservations and provide feedback on daily pricing and activity
• This position reports directly to the Regional Hospitality Manager

General Manager Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in outdoor hospitality and/or property management
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Exceptional verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven leadership experience
• General computer and tech proficiency; experience with RMS is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and/or walk for the majority of their shift
• Ability to work outdoors

About Our Benefits:

• Pay ranges from $68,000 to $73,000/yr commensurate with experience.
