Confidential Commercial Concrete Contractor is Hiring a Concrete Pump Operator Near Aston, PA
We are seeking a Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. As a Concrete Pump Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining concrete pumps to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of concrete to construction sites. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Training available.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and control concrete pumps to deliver concrete to designated areas
- Set up and dismantle concrete pumps at job sites
- Inspect equipment before each use to ensure proper functioning
- Safely maneuver the pump truck into position, following all traffic laws and safety guidelines
- Communicate with team members to coordinate concrete delivery
- Monitor the flow and consistency of concrete during pumping operations
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as cleaning, greasing, and changing filters
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during pumping operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Class B driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Familiarity with commercial vehicles and their operation
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
