We are a cozy, small business in Del Mar, San Diego with two suites- our doctor's office and our hygiene suite. At Del Mar View Dental Care, our team is enthusiastic about providing expert dental work as well as making sure our patients have a healthy foundation for perfect oral hygiene.
We dedicate ourselves to ensuring our high standards are met with every patient who walks in the door.
As part of our admin team, you will be working with our team to schedule and help provide patients the best possible care we are able to.
Days are filled with scheduling, phone calls, emails, texts, negotiating, problem solving, and critical thinking.
We service a high volume of patients each day in our doctor suite and see between 8-16 patients each day in our hygiene suite (depending on number of hygienists), so you will be busy and the day will fly by.
A successful receptionist is cool under pressure and welcomes a challenging day. Our team is a fun and welcoming group, because they love what they do, why they do it, and who they do it with!
Duties :
- Efficiently assign patients and procedures based on their treatment plans, prior visits, and availability while juggling other demands.
- Treatment Presentation, Consent signatures, Collections, Aged accounts
- Liaise with patients to understand their service needs and ensure a smooth patient visit, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Tackle logistical challenges head-on, adapting to last-minute changes and ensuring that all parties are well-informed and comfortable with the revised arrangements.
- Help our team maintaining their schedules, ensuring their readiness for patients, and supporting them throughout the day.
- Required : experience using Dentrix Ascend .
Expected hours :
Monday-Thursday, 7am-4pm (enjoy three day weekends, every weekend!)
