Confidential Jobs is Hiring a Site Quality Manager Near Slidell, LA

Job Summary:

Manage a team of quality personnel that are responsible for adherence to the quality management system and ensure that products are built to the design and specifications. Liaison with manufacturing partners to resolve build and quality issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of quality personnel and ensure that required duties are completed per requirements
  • Manage and maintain all quality processes relative shop floor activities such nonconformance, corrective action, calibration, etc.
  • Ensure build and inspection activities are completed per work/inspection instructions
  • Liaison with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program management and quality personnel.
  • Liaison with site-manufacturing partner’s personnel to ensure compliance to quality and build requirements.
  • Train quality personnel on quality system procedures and inspection techniques.
  • Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations & policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by Quality Director

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7 years minimum experience in inspections and Quality Management Systems
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, AS9100D and AS9145.
  • General understanding of Teamcenter, MRP planning and MBOM development support to manufacturing facilities
  • General understanding of MRP planning mythologies as related to MBOM structure and attributed development
  • General understanding of Configuration Management processes as related to manufacturing- Represent Manufacturing on Configuration Control Boards when required
  • General understanding of electrical or mechanical drawings and models
  • Good planning and organizational skills to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work independently and seek clarification on work assignments/priorities as needed
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and manner
  • Computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Office
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and understanding of how to meet requirements of internal and external customers
  • Positive attitude and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work as a contributing member of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience with defense contracts and DCMA audits preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with United States defense contracts and requirements
