Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work in the safest possible manner following the company safety rules at all times
• To work cooperatively as a team a team player with all team members
• Produce quality output of the molding presses to achieve zero defects on each job
• Demonstrate mechanical reasoning skills and ability
• Use deductive reasoning and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
• Familiar with the types of injection machine controllers in use on the floor
• Regular attendance is critical to this role
• Able to work with and around heat and dust
• Observes meters and gauges to verify and record temperatures, pressures and press- cycle times
• Troubleshoot machine/process problems and correct in a timely manner
• Must be able to start-up Molders & process out any issues occurring during production run.
• Address and report all safety issues and concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain All Dryers, keep clean and organized and in Working Order.

Skills:

• Communication- Ability to inform orally and in writing, with clarity and good effect. Ability to understand clearly and quickly when instructions or orders are received
• Organization- Performing multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal. Using resources effectively and efficiently.
• Basic Reading and Writing- Ability to read, comprehend, and write English
• Possess knowledge of methods, practices and principles used in the manufacturing of plastics
• Possess experience in Pneumatics and electrical repairs (minor).

Qualifications:

• Must be able to meet all pre-employment criteria
• Must have injection molding experience with mold setup. Mold changes, repair, and maintenance are a plus.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach and sit throughout the workday
• Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, and the ability to work efficiently with others
• Must be able to work a 10 hour shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Applicants who have the following experience will be given priority consideration:

• Ability to help diagnose and perform maintenance on molding equipment
• Reading work orders and installing proper molds
• Perform all mold changes, set up and operate injection molder
• Clean Water Lines while Molds are out of machine.
• Remove parts, such as dies, from machines after production runs are finished
• Repair/replace damaged molds, pipes or other equipment using hand tools
