The role will be responsible for all accounts payable functions including but not limited to processing invoices, cutting checks, journal entries, and reconciling vendor statements. The Accounts Payable Specialist will also provide general support to the Accounting Department and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Responsibilities
•Review and reconcile invoices, obtain any necessary approvals, and initiate payment.
•Perform invoice and general ledger data entries.
•Resolve purchase orders, invoices, or payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
•Management of vendor accounts including reconciliation of transactions.
•Support with Expense Report Management.
•Execute and manage company credit card reconciliation.
•Assist senior financial officers as needed.
Skills
•Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
•Basic knowledge of accounts payable principles, and accounting standards.
•Experience in account reconciliation.
•Attention to detail.
