Confidential is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Edison, NJ
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a temp to hire basis with the possibility of direct hire.
Position Overview:
As the Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will work under the supervision of the Controller and will be responsible for creating invoices as well as other AR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice daily shipments.
- Ensure daily, all freight charges and additional information are entered correctly on customer invoices.
- Enter daily, freight amounts on the freight spreadsheets.
- Enter freight invoices daily.
- Review landing costs and ensure it’s calculated daily.
- Review and highlight freight spreadsheet for monthly accrual.
- Posts customer payments via checks and credit cards.
- Make monthly collection calls.
- Review customer credits with Euler.
- Sales and use of tax filing.
- Assist with audits and projects.
- Prepare reports for Sales Team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting and/or Finance. Will consider a combination of related experience and training.
- 3-5 years previous related experience in an AR position. Will consider recent graduates with 2 years of experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel
- Accounting Software
- Understanding of billing and invoicing

- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
