Small public accounting firm located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant.

As an Administrative Assistant to the principal owner, your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting correspondence and other formal documents.
• Scheduling appointments and maintaining a calendar.
• Implementing organized filing systems, and performing other general office tasks as needed. Bookkeeping skills and experience handling accounts receivable and payable are essential.
• The successful candidate will excel at multitasking and be willing to assist the President and Vice-President with various projects as needed.
• Flexibility regarding working days and hours, as well as the ability to adapt to changing work priorities, is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in accounting and will possess exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in a Windows environment, MS Office, and practice management and accounting applications is required. Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
