Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Area General Manager - Food Services to lead daily operations for the food team in Washington, DC.

Position Overview :
This role oversees the entire Food & Nutrition operations at the hospital, including patient meal services, retail, doctors’ lounge, and catering.
Strong operational leadership, financial acumen, client relations, and a commitment to the patient experience are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day food service operations.
- Deliver high-quality food service and achieve company and client financial targets.
- Create strategic plans to support business growth and positive outcomes.
- Ensure standards and regulatory compliance are met.
- Develop and lead the food service team, ensuring high levels of engagement and staff development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food service management.
- General Manager-level experience in Food & Nutrition leadership within a healthcare setting.
- Experience managing in a union environment.
- Strong financial acumen and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication, and provide high-level customer service.
- Experience in a hospital with at least 500 beds preferred.
