About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Budget and Planning. This senior leadership role is pivotal in providing effective guidance and oversight of all financial planning and budget management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of the multiyear financial plan, annual operating and capital budgets, and various financial analyses. As a strategic partner, the Assistant Vice President will work closely with campus leaders, including the President's Senior Staff, to ensure that financial policies and practices align with the institution's goals and objectives.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree and/or CPA preferred. A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible financial management experience in higher education is required, with more than ten years being preferred. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in higher education finance and a proven track record of leadership in a similar capacity. The Assistant Vice President will report to the Vice President of Finance & Administration and will be expected to demonstrate strategic thinking, financial acumen, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships across the institution.
