About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Dean for Occupational Therapy to provide academic leadership and administrative oversight of its various OT programs. This includes leading program directors in program outcome assessment, accreditation processes, and ensuring the growth and consistency of OT programs across different delivery methods. The role also involves leadership development, fiscal and resource management, and maintaining a contemporary, well-delivered curriculum in line with accreditation standards.Candidates for the Associate Dean position must have 7-10 years of progressive academic administrative experience in higher education, with a doctorate degree and a preference for a background in a health professional field. Essential skills include exceptional leadership, communication, and management abilities, as well as a strong commitment to the mission and values of the institution. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in strategic planning, collaboration, and a student-centered philosophy. Experience in discipline-specific accreditation and a background in business competencies such as accountability, collaboration, and effective communication are also essential. The Associate Dean will be expected to maintain a scholarly agenda, provide service to the institution and profession, and have the necessary expertise to teach at the academic level.
