About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Dean for its Occupational Therapy programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic leadership and administrative oversight for a range of OT programs, including residential, flex, and hybrid immersion, as well as first and post-professional programs. This role involves strategic planning, change management, and collaboration with senior academic and university leadership to ensure the growth and quality of OT programs. The Associate Dean will also be involved in leading program outcome assessment, accreditation processes, and faculty performance evaluation and development.Applicants must have 7-10 years of progressive academic administrative experience in higher education, with a doctorate degree and a preference for a background in a health professional field. The role requires a strong understanding of discipline-specific accreditation, a commitment to the institution's mission and values, and a proven track record in leadership, communication, and management. The Associate Dean will be expected to stay current with industry standards, lead faculty meetings and retreats, and foster a student-centered educational environment. Additionally, the role involves fiscal and resource management, ensuring clinical education goals are met, and promoting intercampus and interprofessional educational and research initiatives.
