The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President Actuary and Risk Manager to play a pivotal role in enterprise risk management activities, with a specific focus on morbidity risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for the identification, analysis, and implementation of risk management processes and tools, ensuring that morbidity risks are accurately modeled and monitored in conjunction with other risks. This role demands a high level of transparency in presenting market complexities and a proactive approach to challenging and improving existing risk management processes. The AVP will also be involved in coordinating with various business units to enhance overall risk capabilities, promote consistency, and optimize the risk-to-return profile.Applicants for this role at the company should hold FSA or ASA credentials, have a minimum of 7 years' actuarial experience, and possess a strong background in GAAP/Statutory knowledge. Leadership and communication skills are essential, as the position involves not only leading in the risk management space but also working closely with teams across the organization.
