Prominent leader in the Events Industry located in Philadelphia seeks to fill the position of Catering Warehouse Manager. This individual will manage daily operations of the warehouse, prepare and deliver orders, manage staff, order supplies, control inventory and maintain the physical plant for the building. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team. Position is hands-on, fast paced and attention to detail required. CATERING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Control and manage inventory

Supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations

Perform general maintenance of equipment and physical plant of the building

Enforce all company rules and regulations

Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job

Manage internal and external customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly

Required Skills and Experience

Prior experience in catering is required. Off premise catering experience preferred.

A valid driver’s license with excellent track record is MANDATORY

Experience in driving trucks (non-CDL)

Minimum High school diploma/GED required

4 years experience in catering and managing staff

Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures

Excellent problem-solving skills

Time Management skills

Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

Able to work with all levels of staff

Ability to load/unload trucks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
