About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Behavioral Health Services and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry to provide strategic leadership for a new, free-standing behavioral health hospital and a robust psychiatry/psychology department within a 4-hospital system with an academic medical center. The successful candidate will have strategic oversight of the expanding department, leading integrated services for patients across the system, including those in inpatient, outpatient, corrections, and addiction settings. This role requires a compelling leader with a distinguished record of academic and scholarly activity, as well as Board Certification in Psychiatry. The SVP and Chair will be responsible for energizing the faculty, staff, and learners, and must be a recognized educator and/or investigator with a passion for the educational, clinical, and research missions, delivered in a culturally competent and sensitive manner.As the strategic leader, the ideal candidate will be involved in the exciting components of the new behavioral health hospital, which include a dual diagnosis center for mental illness and addiction, and private rooms for adult and geriatric psychiatry. The role is pivotal in supporting the company's vision to be a national model for health equity and exceptional patient care. The Chair of the Department of Psychiatry will also be supported by an operational dyad and will have faculty appointments through the academic medical center.
