Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure that all food is prepared and served according to quality standards and safety regulations.
- Create and develop menus that are innovative, appealing, and meet the dietary needs of customers.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute catering events.
- Monitor food production to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Implement and enforce food safety procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a culinary role, preferably in a supervisory or management position.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and culinary trends.
- Experience in catering or working in a fast-paced food service environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team of kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
