About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior executive leadership team and oversee the financial operations and fiscal management of the hospital. The CFO will work with the CEO, COO, and the hospital board to develop financial goals and objectives, provide guidance on asset management and financial trends, and implement financial plans in collaboration with department managers. The role also involves being actively involved in system management approaches, corporate performance, and fostering a team-oriented culture. The CFO will be responsible for establishing a strategic financial plan, maintaining responsible accounting practices, ensuring timely financial and productivity reporting, and upholding compliance standards. The CFO will also be responsible for maintaining effective revenue cycle processes, managing capital expenditures, and fostering relationships with lenders and equity holders.Candidates for the CFO position should have a Master's degree in business or healthcare administration with a focus on accounting or finance, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with a CPA license or equivalent work experience. A minimum of five years of experience in a hospital finance or accounting position with supervisory responsibilities is required, with prior CFO experience being preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing financial aspects of a large medical practice, experience with electronic medical record and practice management systems, and a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
