About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO) to join its mission-driven, non-profit organization. The CFOO will be a key member of the Executive Team, providing strategic financial and operational leadership. This role involves overseeing the organization's budgeting, finances, and operations, ensuring that financial management is in line with the organization's goals and that resources are maximized. The CFOO will also be responsible for financial compliance, and reporting, and will supervise the Finance, HR, Operations, Facilities, and IT functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least 8 years of financial leadership experience, and a strong background in non-profit financial management.The successful candidate will be expected to enhance and enforce operational policies and procedures, standardize management for consistency and accountability, and cultivate the values of the organization. They should have a proven track record in building and managing diverse teams, as well as experience in DEI initiatives. Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and a commitment to the organization's mission are essential. The CFOO will also be involved in decision-making, driving the vision and purpose of the organization, and will be a trusted partner to the President, Vice President, and department heads. A CPA is preferred, and experience with non-profit accounting and budgeting software is required.
