About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director, Information Services & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and optimizing all security strategies in an enterprise role. This includes collaborating with all levels of the organization to ensure that technology and operations align with the performance goals while maintaining the appropriate security and risk mitigation strategies. The role also involves providing strategic vision and leadership for the cybersecurity program, measuring and reporting on cybersecurity activities, and developing and enforcing security policies and procedures. The CISO will also oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensure compliance with security and privacy policies, and manage a team to meet SLAs.Candidates for this position at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in managing technological security operations, preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience with the NIST Framework is also preferred. The role requires excellent knowledge of technology environments, security technologies, and project management principles. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems, including security issues, and will be responsible for the performance management and leadership of the security team.
