About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and oversee its cybersecurity program. The CISO will be responsible for all aspects of IT security, from developing and implementing cybersecurity plans to preventing and mitigating cyber-attacks. This includes establishing governance, building knowledge, leading the organization in information security management, and defining strategic direction in alignment with the organization's business objectives. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and enhance an information security management framework based on industry best practices, and to mature the security program by creating and managing a unified, risk-based control framework. Additionally, the CISO will be involved in cybersecurity operations, such as managing security incidents, monitoring the threat environment, and ensuring effective disaster recovery policies.Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management and information security, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Preferred qualifications include recent technical experience demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of information security and risk management, as well as familiarity with common security management frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working independently, establishing effective relationships, and continuously improving their technical and functional skills. The role requires clear and effective communication, the ability to mentor junior staff, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity.
