About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Member Advocacy and Engagement Officer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for developing and implementing a forward-thinking statewide strategy for regionalized advocacy campaigns, communications, and membership engagement that align with the organization's mission and goals. This role is pivotal in leading efforts to create healthy authorizer ecosystems where charter schools can thrive, and in elevating the voice of members through various media platforms. The Chief will also be at the forefront of advocacy efforts, building relationships with key stakeholders and driving local initiatives to ensure that charter schools have a strong and effective voice in policy discussions.Applicants for the Chief Member Advocacy and Engagement Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years of experience, with a proven track record in leadership, advocacy, and strategic communications. A deep understanding of policy, and social justice issues, and a strong belief in the power of public charter schools is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to lead and inspire teams, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.
