About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for Hospital Planning and Operations to spearhead the oversight of a significant integrated practice of the future facilities project. This role involves leading the design, construction, activation, and ongoing management of a new specialty hospital, which is part of a $1.5B facility investment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive hospital and ambulatory operational leadership experience, with a strong background in academic medical centers and recent involvement in large-scale healthcare and hospital facilities design, construction, and implementation. The incoming COO will be instrumental in realizing the vision of a future-oriented, technology-rich specialty hospital, with a focus on clinical specialties such as neurological, heart and vascular, transplant, and complex musculoskeletal-spine, gastroenterological, and metabolic disorders.Applicants for the COO position should be forward-thinking, visionary, and operationally adept, as they will be responsible for the unique opportunity to design, plan, and manage the build of the first university hospital owned and operated by the company. The role is pivotal in the transformation of care delivery models and the provision of high-quality, accessible complex specialty care to meet the local community's needs.
