About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead the sales growth strategy for one of its portfolio businesses in the SaaS sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for restructuring the sales organization to target up-market clients and enhance cross-selling, as well as developing and executing a target account-based marketing and solution packaging sales strategy. The role also involves implementing a comprehensive sales enablement program to improve the effectiveness of the sales team. The ideal CRO will have a heavy sales orientation, experience in marketing, strategy, and operations, and a background that includes at least 20-35 years of progressive career success, preferably within the SaaS industry and with a focus on private equity.Candidates for the CRO position at the company should be passionate, committed leaders with a strong sales background and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Experience in a similar role within a lower-middle market PE-backed SaaS company, or as the number two commercial leader in an upmarket PE-backed SaaS company, is highly desirable. Private equity experience and a background in M&A, particularly in integrating a suite of products, are also required. The role demands a visionary leader who can balance honoring the company's history with driving it towards a successful future, in line with the ambitious growth targets set by the PE sponsor.
