About the Role
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the strategic technological vision of the organization. The CTO will work closely with the CEO, management, and stakeholders to develop and implement short and long-term business strategies that are supported by IT initiatives. This includes managing the IT department, ensuring the alignment of technology with business goals, and leading the deployment of creative, robust, scalable, and effective technology services and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in O365, networking, security camera systems, and experience in hybrid and cloud environments. They must also ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations.Candidates for the CTO position should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a background in private equity, venture capital, commercial real estate, or related fields. Strong technical and leadership experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, security systems, and cybersecurity is essential. The CTO will be expected to set objectives for the IT department, provide top-level management for IT staff, vendors, and contractors, and oversee the development and management of IT/Cloud systems. A post-graduate degree is highly preferred, and the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage and lead in a dynamic and challenging environment.
