About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Advancement Technology and Data Insights, who will also serve as the Chief Technology Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategy and maintaining the operations of the Advancement Information Technology team, leading technology and data initiatives, and ensuring data integrity and security. This role involves working closely with leadership to develop and apply tech-enabled strategies that align with the company's priorities for fundraising, engagement, and communications. The Executive Director will also provide organizational leadership in technology and data insights, serve as the Chief Information Officer, and collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer on budgeting and risk analysis related to technology investments.Applicants for this position at the company should be prepared to serve as the technology and data expert for the company's Audit Committee and annual external audit. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field, with at least 10 years' of relevant experience in fundraising, non-profits, higher education, or a similar setting. Experience in higher education advancement and a deep understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and data analytics, particularly Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, are also preferred. The role requires a leader who embodies the core values of the company, including purpose, production, collaboration, and innovation, and who can effectively communicate and engage with the company's board and various committees.
