About the Role

The Company is seeking a Corporate Counsel for the Public Sector with a focus on identity and access management. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing secure and flexible identity solutions. This role is pivotal in the development and implementation of legal strategies that support the growth of the public sector business. The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for enhancing compliance frameworks, advising on new policies and regulations, and ensuring product compliance with both U.S. and international standards. A key aspect of the role is to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, security, engineering, and compliance, to navigate the legal aspects of the public sector product lifecycle.Applicants for the Corporate Counsel position should have a minimum of 5 years' of legal experience, with at least 2 years' specifically in public sector issues. Experience in supporting IT products, particularly SaaS offerings, is essential. The role requires a deep understanding of U.S. Federal, state, and local regulations related to the technology sector, including cybersecurity, product, artificial intelligence, and intellectual property. Familiarity with international regulatory requirements for IT products is also a must. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent business judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to provide pragmatic legal solutions. A J.D. from a highly-regarded institution and bar admission are necessary, and an undergraduate degree in a technical field is a plus.
