A well-established medical device manufacturing company is looking for that special someone to join our team. We have a position open for a full-time Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain. The candidate is responsible for the manufacturing process of products, production planning, inventory control, as well as all warehousing functions. Through sales, inventory and manufacturing analysis he/she will generate a master production schedule which will in turn drive purchasing of raw materials and/or services in support of the production plan. Inventory levels will also be calculated based on replenishment lead times, expiration dating and obsolescence. Responsible for manufacturing operational performance to meet corporate objectives in compliance with cGMP and ISO 13485: 2018.
Strong management, training skills and above average spread sheet skills are required. Experience with business management system software, MRP, GMP’s and ISO based system management. Be familiar with cost accounting principles. Along with experience managing production staff and motivating and managing for improved performance.
A minimum of a BA or BS in a business discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education required. 10 years of manufacturing, planning and purchasing experience preferable in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment and APICs certification a plus.
