About the Role

The Company is seeking a Division Chair for Infectious Diseases to lead and advance a well-established and highly regarded division. The successful candidate will be a transformational leader with a strong background in clinical practice, research, education, and administration. This role is pivotal in the growth and innovation of the division, which is a key referral center for complex infectious diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be a progressive, visionary, and selfless leader, with a focus on the three mission areas of clinical practice, research, and education. Responsibilities include leading a team of physicians and advanced practice providers, overseeing a fellowship program, and directing various specialized programs in infection control, antimicrobial stewardship, and therapeutic regimens. The Division Chair will also be expected to engage in strategic planning, establish research and education priorities, and represent the division nationally and internationally.Applicants for the Division Chair position must have an MD, DO, or MD PhD, be Board Certified in Infectious Disease, and hold an academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor. A minimum of 10 years' of experience post-fellowship, with a significant research portfolio and scholarly accomplishments, is required. The role demands a leader with previous leadership experience in an academic setting, a proven track record of high-quality clinical outcomes, and a strong emphasis on empathy, humility, and compassion. The Division Chair will work to identify opportunities for growth, assess the needs of the division, and collaborate with senior leadership to enhance the division's impact and reputation.
