About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Artistic Director to lead its mission of providing inclusive performance and lifelong learning opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be a proactive and innovative leader, responsible for strategic leadership, and a new growth strategy based on fundraising. This role involves working in partnership with the Board of Directors to ensure the organization's financial sustainability, setting the strategic agenda, and overseeing the development of the annual budget. The Executive Artistic Director will also be tasked with promoting excellence, designing and implementing a robust development program, and fostering relationships with community members, donors, and various entities.Applicants for the Executive Artistic Director position at The Company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with non-profit arts-related experience and knowledge of theater, dance, and/or music preferred. Essential qualifications include a strong background in budgeting, production, and project management, as well as experience in human resources and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in non-profit leadership, fundraising, and grant management, and be adept at setting and implementing organizational priorities. Knowledge of the culture of teaching artists and experience working with a Board of Directors is also required. The role demands excellent communication skills, a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all abilities.
